We are David and Jolene Sloan. We have three children: David Howard, Jr., Nathanael Thomas, and Brianna Marie. We are graduates of Oklahoma Baptist College in Oklahoma City, Oklahoma. God has called us to missionary evangelism in the country of Ukraine. We moved to Simferopol in March 2007. I serve as an associate to Pastor Van Sant, working with the Bible College and Sunday School ministries of Simferopol Baptist Church. I also assist with the conferences the church hosts each year. Jolene and I are presently teaching the Couple's Sunday School Class. David was saved at the age of 8 in Mexico, where he grew up as a missionary kid. Jolene was saved at the age of four. David and Jolene were married in June 2000 in Oklahoma. |
